Mark Preston - Traditional Acupuncture and Tui Na

In 1982 I discovered Tai Chi Chuan. The meditative movements offer a strength through softness and have been an important part of my life ever since. I was inspired to explore the world of “Qi” and Chinese Medicine. In 1988 I qualified in Traditional Acupuncture from Prof. Worsley’s “5 Element” college in Leamington Spa. Further studies in TCM lead to my lecturing on LCTA’s degree course.

Tuina is a highly sophisticated system of Chinese massage that draws upon all the same diagnostic skills as acupuncture, utilising channel theory and a wide range of techniques to help a return to better health .
